You can also hire additional camping equipment – take a look at our Cheeky Extras page for more details.

All that’s left is for you to pack your personal belongings. If you are new to campervan holidays, what to pack and how can seem a bit daunting, so Cotswolds to Coast Campers Ltd. has put together a list of what we consider the essentials. It isn’t exhaustive but it’s a good place to start.

GOLDEN CAMPERVAN RULE – THERE’S NOTHING MORE ANNOYING THAN TOO MUCH LUGGAGE!

We recommend you only pack essentials, into soft holdalls instead of suitcases, as they will be easier to store in the campervan. It is highly recommended that you hire our drive-away awning, found on our Cheeky Extras page, to store your luggage and other belongings once you arrive at your location. This will free up your living space in the van, especially when the rock and roll bed is pulled out at night.

Essentials

⦁ 2 x YOUR PROOF OF ADDRESS, DRIVING LICENCE AND A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD – your booking will be cancelled on collection without these
⦁ Clothes – running around naked is generally frowned upon…
⦁ Toiletries & Medication – use travel bottles and decant where you can to save space. If you plan to go off-grid you’ll be thankful for baby wipes
⦁ Bedding – there’s room for two people (max 160kg) in the roof and two on the rock and roll bed, so we recommend either a double or two single duvets for each bed or alternatively, sleeping bags. You will also need to bring pillows. We provide a self inflating mattress for added comfort and a bottom sheet
⦁ Towels – as small as possible. Consider a quick drying hiking towel to avoid damp towels in your living space. You can buy (and keep!) a quick drying towel, by visiting our Cheeky Extras page
⦁ Food & drink – check out our Cheeky Extras to order some tempting treats to be waiting for you in your campervan on collection day. We’ve taken advantage of two amazing local business for your campervan hire near Banbury. You can also order a supermarket food shop and have it delivered to our business address for your convenience

Essential But Not Essential

⦁ Torches – Cotswolds to Coast Campers Ltd. provide a wind-up torch in the emergency kit and the campervan is equipped with LED lights that run off the leisure battery. We do however advise you to bringing your own torch for walking to and from the shower blocks at night or for use in emergencies
⦁ Tech – GPS/Satnav, mobile phone, iPads, laptops and chargers. Our campervan has USB charging points
⦁ Entertainment – a pack of cards and Uno Card Game comes with the campervan hire. Taking into account space you may want to pack some family games or books for when you’ve finished sightseeing
⦁ Picnic kit – blanket, a flask and water bottles
